This painting was inspired by a quiet moment by the water — a Border Collie resting near the riverbank, surrounded by late afternoon light.
I was drawn to the stillness in that contrast: a working dog, built for movement and focus, pausing in complete calm.

It’s a reminder that peace isn’t something far away or grand. Sometimes it’s right there, in the small pause between one thought and the next.

All paintings are carefully packed and shipped with insurance through UPS Declared Value Protection.
In the unlikely event that your painting is damaged during transport, please send clear photos within 48 hours after delivery showing:

All sides of the package (including the shipping label)
The damaged painting both inside and outside the packaging

I will then contact UPS to file a claim and will get back to you as soon as possible with a fair solution.
The refund will never exceed the original purchase amount (in this case €695).
Please note that the original shipping costs cannot be refunded and remain at the buyer’s expense.

Ik raakte gefascineerd door die spanning tussen energie en stilte: een hond die gemaakt is om te werken, maar hier even alles laat zijn.

Stuur in het geval van schade binnen 48 uur na ontvangst duidelijke foto’s van:

Alle kanten van het pakket (inclusief verzendlabel)
Het beschadigde schilderij, zowel in als buiten de verpakking

Ik neem vervolgens contact op met UPS om een claim in te dienen en laat je zo snel mogelijk weten wat een passende oplossing is.
De terugbetaling zal nooit hoger zijn dan het oorspronkelijke aankoopbedrag (in dit geval €695).
Houd er rekening mee dat de oorspronkelijke verzendkosten helaas niet kunnen worden vergoed en voor rekening van de koper blijven.
